We had a really good worship service at LifePointe Church last weekend. We've been doing a series called "American Idols" for the last month, focusing on idols that seem to be prevalent in our American culture. For the last part of the series, we changed gears a bit, looking at where we should place our worship.

What a fantastic morning at LifePointe Church! The placed was packed and you can just feel the Spirit of God working in our people. It's a great feeling standing on stage and seeing all the people glad, really glad, to be there. We have been building some momentum for a couple of months now and we're starting to see God take over. I had the high honor of leading my niece to Jesus this morning. That never gets old, especially when it's family. That pushes our number of people to baptize next week to three. If you want to be baptized you can sign up at the LifePointe website by clicking here. I can't think of a better time to make your faith in Jesus public than at next week's service. The Urban Legends series has got to be the best series we've done in the history of LifePointe. We're learning that the Bible DOES apply to every area of our lives. And that God is always near. Next Sunday is going to be an extra special day at LifePointe. We're going to pull away from Urban Legends for a week. Instead we're having baptism, the Lord's Supper Communion, and a couple of extras. We'll cap it off with Lunch@LifePointe. Whatever you do, DO NOT miss next Sunday. It will be special. Again, a huge day today at LifePointe. I'm getting ready to head out to tonight's Prayer and Share, our small group gathering. Come check it out. See ya.
