LifePointe Church Website Stats for 2009

I jumped over to Google Analytics the other day to see how the LifePointe Church website did in 2009. Here's some of the interesting tidbits I gleamed from the statistics:

The LifePointe Church website was visited 2,531 times.
1,127 unique people visited.
A total of 9,264 pages were viewed.

43% of the visits were people visiting the website for the first time.
People spent an average of 3 minutes 8 seconds on the website per visit.
People from 21 different countries visited the website.

563 visits came here from google.com.
166 visits came here from robwestbrook.com.
150 visits came here from facebook.com.
68 visits came here from monroe360.com.

That's pretty strong from Facebook, considering we really began our push there only a few months ago. Monroe360 is the website of our local weekly paper, where we have a free ad running.

Outside of the home page, the top ten pages visited were:

Our videos seem to be gaining some steam as people watch our services online. And I think we need to re-fire the audio podcasts, since that page is in our top 10.

Very interesting numbers. What do you see that catches your eye?

Getting Back into the Swing in 2009

I guess you've noticed I've been on kind of a blog vacations the last couple of weeks. I hope you've been reading those "Rob's Lifestream Archives" post, which document some of the things that goes on in my day. I'm getting geared up to start a new year in a soon to be one year old church. 2008 was a great year but I think 2009 will be our breakout year at LifePointe. I can't wait to see what's next. Now that 2009 is officially here, the blog will start to pick up steam. Thanks for sticking with me in 2008 and things promise to get even more outrageous in 2009. Are you ready!?!
