LifePointe Teens Camp Video

The Pointe, our teen ministry at LifePointe, went to their summer camp recently. The camp was the TUFF Camp, organized by Rob Sevilla. Our bunch had an awesome time and they came back on fire! Here’s a video we did with some of their camp snapshots with the Animoto web app.

In the Round

This morning at LifePointe, we changed things up a bit. The band and I came down off our stage and the service was conducted “in the round.” We circled the chairs around an open area in the center of the room. The band led us acoustically, and I preached from the center of the floor. It was a very unique and pleasantly different way of doing a worship service. Here’s a picture I stitched together from early in the service.

We did this to try and move the worship service away from a performance by a few to an experience that everyone participated in. I thought it did this well. Once people got over the shock as they walked into the room they seemed to enjoy the change. I’m happy with our experiment of moving the church service from something we see to something we do.

Pray for that one person God has shown you. Pray that God will open that person’s eyes to His love and holiness. If you haven’t yet found that person, ask God to show you the one you can concentrate on for the next six weeks, to serve and love. Then pray for them every Tuesday.
