LifePointe

Sunday Rundown
Mar 14th
We had a really good day today at LifePointe Church. The excitement was back up again today and there was a strong sense of God’s Spirit in our presence.
The band was on top of their game. James sat in with the band on guitar for the first time and he did great. They didn’t miss More >

Helping Amory and Monroe County
Mar 11th
I’m looking for some feedback for a project I’m starting. If you are a current or former resident of Amory, Mississippi, or Monroe County, Mississippi (Aberdeen, Hatley, Smithville, Nettleton, Hamilton, or anywhere else), could you help me out? I’m hoping that you guys will help me out by giving me your feedback on the following More >

Mar 9th
Last Sunday we began a brand new series at LifePointe called SENT. We’re exploring the “sentness” of God’s people. We put together a video for the series intro and I thought I would share it with you. You can get a little better glimpse of our community. Take a look.

Sunday Recap
Mar 7th
We are having the best weekend weather we’ve had down here in Mississippi since last October. And we could tell it with our attendance today, which was probably at its lowest in six months. But we still had an amazing service.
We began our new series for March: SENT. I think this will be one More >

Sunday Awesomeness
Feb 28th
LifePointe had another really big day Sunday. Our worship service was so, so good. Our worship band played great but really broke it down and unplugged for “Heart of Worship.” Their rendition was very moving and listening to everyone singing moved me. The presence and Spirit of God was so strong, so real, it had More >

Powerful Sunday
Feb 21st
I’m running out of adjectives to describe the services at LifePointe Church. I’ll just use two: powerful, Spirit-filled.
From the moment I got up this morning I felt the Holy Spirit was preparing me for a powerful day. And I was not disappointed. In fact, I would go so far as to say we had the More >

Baptism Celebration
Feb 14th
When we do baptism at LifePointe, we celebrate. We celebrated times three today! Seeing people publicly acknowledge Jesus never gets old. We don’t have the fanciest baptistery (we use a cattle water trough), but we do have lots of enthusiasm. Thanks for letting me be a part of your faith journey Skyler, Candace, and Jim. More >

Freedom Sunday
Feb 7th
I don’t mean to sound repetitious, but we had another wonderful service at LifePointe today. The entire service was just electric. I cannot say enough about our teams. They are pros. Everybody is clicking. The band, as usual, took it up another notch.
Occasionally, I feel a strong impression from God to change course a bit More >

Proud of the LifePointe People
Feb 4th
Over the past six months, God has really been doing a work at LifePointe Church. And in the last month, since January 2010, we have consistently had higher and higher attendance. Which is a great thing to happen!
Our teams have been great through this growth spurt! Every single person is pitching in, serving where needed, More >

I Gave
Jan 28th
A couple of Sundays ago at LifePointe, we gave all our offering from the previous week back to our people. We placed $10 bills in envelopes and gave every person in our worship service one. There were only two rules: Give the money to someone who desperately needs it and let everyone know the story.
We’ve More >

Another Big Sunday
Jan 25th
The Sundays just keep getting better and better. Full house again with more new families and faces. The band was phenomenal. A few minor hiccups (Welcome Time: handled like (semi)pros!, and total confusion with the sermon graphics: my bad). Overall though, we had another spirit-filled, high energy time. We’re running low on chairs and may More >

It’s Almost Sunday!
Jan 23rd
The last few months at LifePointe have been phenomenal, especially our worship services. And we’re expecting another fantastic worship service tomorrow. The band is fired up and our teams are ready to serve. If you haven’t attended a LifePointe Church worship service yet then tomorrow would be a great day to come. You’ll be there More >
