Flipping through our DirecTv this morning. DirecTv has these headers that come up on each channel giving you the name of the program. I got to TBN and the program title popped up. The program was called Christian Celebrity Showcase. I understand what it means and I praise God that there are some Christians who also happen to be celebrities in our culture. But it just kind of hit me funny. The words Christian and Celebrity are oxymoronic, at least I would think so.

Or, it just may be the medication I’m taking. Who knows?

This post starts a new category at this blog that I will add to as I find items that fit. The category is "yougottabekidding" and it’s dedicated to the crazy things some people do in the name of Jesus. I introduce to you the first entry in this category.

You’ve Been Left Behind – This website promises to send email to your buddies who may miss the rapture. The email goes out 6 days after the rapture to up to 60-something emails you enter in. Oh yeah, they charge!
