While the April 27th tornado hit Smithville, Mississippi, much of the staging for relief is taking place in the surrounding communities. Amory has several relief sites as does Hatley. I’m adding some maps to the various sites to help you find your way. These are Google Maps, so you should be able to use your location to chart directions to the various sites.

The Smithville POD is serving as the front line point of distribution. A store has been set up for Smithville residents to come in and get supplies, from water to food to clothes to furniture. Much of the supplies brought in to the area find their way here. It’s an amazing location, a furniture warehouse converted to a distribution point within a very short period of time.
