The band was on top of their game. James sat in with the band on guitar for the first time and he did great. They didn’t miss a beat. I have to say it again. These guys are talented but greater than their talent is their own love and worship for our King. What an honor to serve alongside these guys.
Our kids group is getting ridiculous (in a good way)! Our team working with all our children’s groups are second to none. A big shout out to Angel, Amanda and Brian, and Tisha! God is working in TweenPointe, our fifth and sixth graders. There is some strong stuff happening there and it’s really exciting to watch.
I continued our Sent series, with week two today. Again, we were challenged by the Word of God. He is a sending God and Jesus is a sending Savior. And Jesus has shown us how to go as we’re sent. He is the God of our city and we are His missionaries here.
Now, I’m personally exhausted. I’m praying for some of our church family who are getting sideswiped by the enemy. Hey, guys, he’s defeated! You’re on the winning side!
I’m about to head back for our Prayer and Share small groups. Somehow I’ve got to keep up with the Big Dance bracket announcements. I think my ‘dogs just might slip in there.
