I’ve been so busy the last few months that I had completely forgotten the ChurchPlanters.com conference coming up February 22-23, in Atlanta.
There are so many conferences now and you can spend thousands of dollars and travel every week to attend them all. They all offer great stuff but for most church planters and pastors, both money and time are tight. If you can attend conferences at all, you have to make sure you’re getting value, from both the financial and practical levels.
That’s why I’m attending the ChurchPlanters.com conference. I was able to attend the conference in 2008 and it was one of the best ones I’ve ever attended, hands down. They have a great line up of speakers but, for me, their smaller group breakouts are fantastic. And, this year, they’ve added a “Small Town – Big Impact” pre-conference session, for those of you, like me, who are planting in smaller towns. Charles Hill, a church planter now getting ready to launch in Utah, leads this session.
So, if you’re looking to increase your knowledge about church planting, go over and check out the ChurchPlanters.com website. Maybe I’ll see you there next month.
