I’m really liking Twitter now. If you want see my latest twitters, I moved them from the sidebar to their own page. Click on Rob’s Twitter and you’ll see the latest 25. If you’re on Twitter let me know. If you want to know more let me know, too. I can see where Twitter would really be a good church communication tool. If you have a phone and can send text messages, if you have a computer with internet access, or if you have a PDA, like a Blackberry or iPhone, you can Twitter, from anywhere. Take a look at twitter.com for more details.
Brief explanation: Twitter is kinda like a blog. You can update anytime you want. But you’re limited to 160 characters, about the same as a normal text message. As soon as you send it, it updates your twitter. You can follow other’s twitters, comment in their twitter, and others can follow you. A good way to explain it is that it’s community text messaging.
