No Comments Flashbacks to a Long Time Ago
Tuesday night our students had a swim party and cookout. Big turnout. Of course, being one who has just recently graduated out of the student ministry (ha) I was there. As the party progressed, several of us gravitated toward a basketball goal. I was the oldest guy there by like a hundred years but decided to jump in a game. I forgot how much I loved the game. It was fast, it was furious, and I loved every minute of it. Sweated like crazy. Couldn’t breathe. But it felt great. I was feeling fine.
Wednesday was a different story. Knees on fire. I’m eventually going to need foot surgery and I think I advanced the timeline considerably with the basketball game. Some of the muscles hurting are ones I thought had checked out a long time ago.
Can’t wait to do it again!
